FAQ

Do I need a referral to attend this clinic?

No, you do not need a referral to see Brett Jarosz (Fellow Sports & Exercise Chiropractor and Neurorehabilitation Chiropractor), or Dylan Jones (Chiropractor).

Do I have to be a sports person to attend this clinic?

Absolutely not! Brett and Dylan all have a strong practice interest in Sports & Exercise Chiropractic and Neurorehabilitation Chiropractic, however they offer elite services for anyone who requires neuromusculoskeletal (neuro-orthopedic) assessment, diagnosis and multi-modal treatment and management.

What do I need to bring?

  • Please bring ALL previous imaging (films and reports) that may be relevant to your presenting condition to your initial consultation

  • Neurophysiological test (e.g. Clinical EMG, audiology, vestibular, EEG) results

  • Blood tests results

  • Please wear comfortable clothing (the Optimize team recommends loose-fitting clothing, such as gym gear)

Can the consultations be claimed on Private Health Insurance?

Yes, all consultations can be claimed on Private Health Insurance.

At Nicholson Health & Wellness, there are HICAPS facilities available on site. After the consultation, your health fund card is simply swiped through the HICAPS terminal by the reception staff. Your claim details are entered and in seconds the whole transaction is processed. Once your claim is authorised, you simply pay the gap amount - the difference between the full fee for the treatment and the amount claimed from your health fund.

Alternatively, if you do not have your health fund card with you, an invoice will be provided that you can take to your health fund provider and claim afterwards.
Please contact your Private Health Insurance provider to determine your health fund coverage and rebate amount for chiropractic health services.

Yes, we do see WorkCover and TAC patients. But please note, all individuals are responsible for payment of the full fee at the time of consultation, and can then claim it back from the third party payor themselves.

Third party schemes such as WorkCover and TAC attract their own individual fee structures and may only partially cover the cost of services at Optimize Sports Chiropractic, not the full consultation fee.

Payment in full is required at the time of consultation. This applies to all invoices including third party claims such as WorkCover and TAC.
