Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NOR   )

Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NOR    ) is a rehabilitative approach to chronic and acute pain based on the latest developments in neuroscience and pain science. The NOR approach includes an evolving range of innovative, clinical techniques drawing from a number of clinical disciplines intersecting at the human nervous system.

The NOR approach emphasizes the role of the nervous system in both function and dysfunction (e.g. adverse changes in the nervous system that are associated with injury), integrating orthopedics, biomechanics, pain management and neurorehabilitation.

Brett Jarosz has helped develop and teach NOR courses to health care professionals around the world. He has played a significant role in the NOR program, drawing on a rich background of clinical rehabilitation, research, education and high-level sport participation. Ryan Pool is also a certified NOR practitioner, having completed the inaugural Australian NOR course series.
