Functional Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation (FNOR   )

Functional Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation (FNOR    ) is a rehabilitative approach to chronic and acute pain based on the latest developments in neuroscience and pain science. The FNOR approach includes an evolving range of innovative, clinical techniques drawing from a number of clinical disciplines intersecting at the human nervous system.

The FNOR approach emphasizes the role of the nervous system in both function and dysfunction (e.g. adverse changes in the nervous system that are associated with injury), integrating orthopedics, biomechanics, pain management and neurorehabilitation.

Brett Jarosz has helped develop and teach FNOR courses to health care professionals around the world. He has played a significant role in the FNOR program, drawing on a rich background of clinical rehabilitation, research, education and high-level sport participation. Both Ryan Pool and Dylan Jones are also certified FNOR practitioners, having completed the inaugural Australian FNOR course series.
